New Developments with Short Sales

by kristalombardi on August 29, 2009

The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing (ILHM) http://www.luxuryhomemarketing.com/real-estate-agents/home.html has created a new division,  The Center for Asset Preservation (CAP)

CAP’s goal is to arm agents with the up-to-the-minute training you must have to do Short Sales (in any price range – luxury homes included!) under the newly required Making Home Affordable program.

The administration’s new Making Home Affordable Program (MHA) has changed the Short Sale process, guidelines, and paperwork. It is in effect now … covers 9 out of 10 home loans … and is mandatory.

Servicers’ loss mitigators are being trained now. WE must also follow the new MHA process, understand the rules and guidelines, and use the standardized paperwork. It’s a whole new ballgame!

Let’s get these short sales closed!
