I had salmon once tha was very good. Then I had eggs benedict the second time which were OK and the last time I ordered salad with salmon, which wasn't so great. The last time my party and I sat for quite a while without menus and water and we finally had to ask for them. Consistently, on each visit, I found this restaurant to be kind of cheap about putting bottles of olive oil and vinegar on the table for the very good bread they serve as a starter - however, once I had to remind them to bring the bread. They bring out the olive oil and vinegar on a little plate and if the party needs more (we did each time) we have to ask for it and they replenish on the plate, not leaving the bottles, which most restaurants do. I had more hopes for this restaurant since the one it replaced, and Phil's are now gone and I can't recommend The Gathering at all. I hope Olivetto gets consistently better.
